WHAT'S DSL?
DSL stands for "Digital Subscriber Line" and is a technology that transforms ordinary copper phone lines into digital lines for high-speed Internet access. With a DSL modems it offers high-speed internet access without installing a second phone line. When using DSL you're connected to the Internet whenever your computer is on. You get immediate access to the Internet without the lengthy connection and dial-up process, no more screeching sounds or busy signals.

WHAT DO YOU GET?
DSL can provide speeds up to 1.5 Mbps downstream (from Delcambre Telephone Central Office to the Customer location) and 256 Kbps Upstream (from the customer s location to the Delcambre Telephone Central Office).
The actual speed experienced by the customers may vary and depends on several factors including;
(1) Customer location
(2) Destination on the internet
(3) Interference with high frequency spectrum on the customer's telephone line, etc.
No minimum level of speed is guaranteed.

· Windows 98 Operating System
· 32MB of Ram
· 20MB free hard disk space
· One available Ethernet Port
· CD-Rom drive for DSL 7410 driver installation
· One RJ-11 phone connection
· One DSL Ethernet Modem (will be supplied by Delcambre Communication Co.)
